My Work Has Always Been About Children and Families
My work with children and families began long before I became a coach. With a background in child development and education, I spent years working with children, parents, schools, and educational programs.
Becoming a parent deepened that understanding in ways no classroom or professional training ever could. I experienced firsthand the gap between knowing how I wanted to parent and actually being able to show up that way in the messy, emotional, unpredictable moments of family life.
That experience eventually expanded my work into coaching, mental fitness, emotional regulation, and attachment, and strengthened something I've come to believe deeply: how we respond to our children is connected to how we relate to ourselves.
The Parent Matters, Too
Parenting has a remarkable way of bringing us face-to-face with ourselves. Our children's emotions can activate our own, stirring up fear, frustration, self-doubt, or patterns we didn't even realize we were carrying.
I'm a mom, too, and I live this work alongside the parents I support. I've had the beautiful moments of connection and the moments I wish I could do over. I've worried, reacted, repaired, questioned myself, and continued to grow alongside my children.
That's why my work doesn't focus only on understanding children. I help parents understand themselves, too, so they can recognize what pulls them into reactivity and develop the capacity to pause and respond more intentionally. Our relationships with our children aren't built through perfection. They're built through showing up, reconnecting, repairing, and trying again.
